Tang and McKee Dominate Keirin Finals as Festival of Speed Showcases Sprint and Endurance Firepower

BREINIGSVILLE, PA — A thrilling night of international track cycling unfolded at the Valley Preferred Cycling Center as the Festival of Speed brought together elite sprinters and endurance specialists from across North America and beyond. The event delivered world-class racing under the lights, with highlight wins in the Keirin, Elimination, Flying Mile, and Rider of the Year events.

In the Men’s Keirin Final, Geneway Tang (Torrance, CA) surged ahead of the pack with a 200m time of 10.853 seconds (66.3 km/h) to take the win over Dylan Day (Star Track / Leamington, UK) and William Munday (Great Britain / Star Track).

The Women’s Keirin Final saw McKenna McKee (Tessacrat / Vancouver, WA), the reigning U.S. National Champion, reaffirm her title with a commanding performance, ahead of Mandy Marquardt (Edge Cycling / Allentown, PA) and Olivia Ray (Star Track / Auckland, NY).


UCI Elimination Races Bring Tactical Showdowns

In the Women’s Elimination Final, Colleen Gulick (Team Skyline - Cadence / Long Beach, CA) used expert positioning to outlast the field, followed by Julianna Rutecki (Bike Works p/b Fred Beans / West Chester, PA) and Reagen Pattishall (Turbo Velo Pickle Juice / Breinigsville, PA).

Dylan Bibic (Canada / Israel Premier Tech Academy) controlled the Men’s Elimination Final with power and precision. Brad Green (Star Track / Schnecksville, PA) and Anton Gibson (Star Track / Brooklyn, NY) rounded out the top three.


Rider of the Year Events Highlight Future Stars

In the Women’s Point-a-Lap Final, Alexi Ramirez surged to 11 points in a dominant effort, with Colleen Gulick and Reagen Pattishall close behind in a fast-paced, strategic race.

The Men’s Scratch Race was won by John Borstelmann (Ventum / San Luis Obispo, CA), with Liam Trepte (TEAMBSR Trade Team / Greenville, PA) and Preston Eye (Team Flicker / Suwanee, GA) earning podium spots in a race that averaged 50.6 km/h.


Flying Mile Closes the Night with High-Speed Finishes

Though no new track record was set, the Flying 1 Mile Finals delivered crowd-pleasing speed.

Olivia Ray (Star Track / Auckland, NY) won the Women’s Flying 1 Mile, with Reagen Pattishall and Colleen Gulick taking second and third.

In the Men’s Flying 1 Mile, Liam Trepte (TEAMBSR Trade Team / Greenville, PA) posted a time of 1:45 at 54.7 km/h to take the win. He was followed by Otis Engel (PA) and Justin Pak (Star Track Cycling / Flushing, NY).
