The Board of Directors of the Valley Preferred Cycling Center is soliciting interest from the public at large to add several new members to fill existing and upcoming vacancies to the Board this year. In particular, the Board is interested in finding talented individuals with expertise in the following areas:
- General finance/accounting background
- Legal background
We are looking for engaged, motivated members for our Board who can bring their skills and talents in order to advise the ongoing operation of the facility, but also those that are willing to commit time and effort for the betterment of the facility, contribute fresh perspectives and ideas, and additionally bring relationships which could be of value in securing additional financial support for the Valley Preferred Cycling Center, which operates as a 501c3 non-profit.
If you are interested, please submit an e-mail to info@thevelodrome.com with a short statement as to why you are interested in joining the board, your background and experience, and availability to attend bi-monthly board meetings as well as occasional outside of board meeting work to help advance the interests of the Valley Preferred Cycling Center. Please also pass this note to others who you think might have interest in serving on the board and supporting both our velodrome and our cycling community.
