Where is Valley Preferred Cycling Center?

It is nestled in the heart of Lehigh County, inches away from the Trexlertown border, located at 1151 Mosser Rd., Breinigsville, PA 18031.

Is Valley Preferred Cycling Center the same place as the Velodrome?

Yes. The Velodrome is part of Valley Preferred Cycling Center, which is the epicenter of cycling in the Lehigh Valley, as well as our cyclo-cross course located on the athletic fields adjacent the Velodrome.

How do I get involved in cycling?

Valley Valley Preferred Cycling Center offers a number of classes and programs for novice riders. We offer courses for all ages and skill levels. Please see our Programs and Services page for detailed descriptions of the programs we offer.

Can anyone ride the track?

Yes, the track is open to the public and free to ride whenever the track is not already reserved. Hours to ride are typically dawn to dusk. Only bicycles are permitted. No roller skates, skateboards, etc. will be allowed.

How do I know if the track is open?

What is the World Series of Bicycling?

The World Series of Bicycling is a professional bicycle racing series which takes place every Friday night throughout the summer at Valley Preferred Cycling Center. The series showcases the finest professional cyclists including national, world, and Olympic champions from around the world in a number of different races.

Do you offer courses for kids and adults?

We offer a variety of programs and classes for all ages. Whether it is a child on training wheels, or an adult with track experience, we have the class for you.

What is the cost of admission to watch races?

World Series of Bicycling races require a general admission ticket to enter. For the most up to date pricing, please refer to our tickets page by clicking here.

Tickets can be purchased ahead of time on the individual event page on our website or at the gate on the night of an event.

Admission for the Fuji Super Tuesday series and First Niagara Masters and Rookies is free for all ages.

How do I know if a race is postponed due to weather?

Urgent weather announcements can be found on our homepage. If a World Series of Bicycling event is postponed, it will be made up the next day, Saturday. If the makeup date ends as a rainout, the event will be rescheduled to another date altogether.

Is there competition for riders that aren’t professionals?

VPCC has several racing series for non-professionals and those who are working their way up. Our Fuji Super Tuesday Pro-Am series features professionals and amateurs on the same track. Our First Niagara Masters and Rookies Series feature riders just beginning their cycling career, along with veterans of the track looking to stay sharp.

Are there any non-cycling events at Valley Preferred Cycling Center?

Yes. VPCC hosts a multitude of events from its VeloFest, the nation’s largest cycling marketplace, to 5K’s and charity walks, and much more.

I am an international cyclist, how can I race in T-Town?

Any international rider who would like to race in T-Town can contact us directly anytime. We will work with you to try and make your racing here in TTown as stress-free as possible.

Am I able to rent the facility?

You may rent the facility for private use. Fees vary based on group size, needs, and length of rental.

Who can be a VeloFest vendor?

VeloFest Vendors can be a business or individual looking to sell their new and used cycling equipment and merchandise. Separate rates apply for commercial and private vendor locations. Private vendors are individuals with no affiliation to a business. Vendors are typically cycling related, but can be any business or person wanting to sell goods to the public.

How do I donate a preme?

Premes, or premiums, are cash prizes given out to riders during a race for winning that particular race, a particular lap, or lapping the field, among other achievements. You can donate a preme by contacting the VPCC office before a race.
