Ocean Spray Saturdays
at T-Town

The OCEAN SPRAY Saturdays at T-Town run throughout the summer and offer racing opportunities for riders of all ages and abilities. Each week we will mix up the formats to keep it fun, competitive and safe. We’ll offer a combination of traditional Masters and Rookies Saturday race days interspersed with Sprint Tournaments and individual TT days that will include racing opportunity for Elites as well.

Temperature checks and screening questions will be asked upon entry. No communal water will be provided – please plan to be self-sufficient with your food and hydration needs. Hand sanitizer is available throughout the venue and good hand hygiene should be maintained. Please bring the tools and equipment you need as sharing is discouraged.

Race categories for Mass Start Saturdays will be:
MEN: 35+, 45+, 55+ and USAC categories 4 & 5
WOMEN: 35+, 55+ and USAC categories 4 & 5
JUNIOR: A & B (ages 10-15 based upon ability) – gear restriction 48×16 or equivalent
*Categories maybe combined depending on number of entrants

We will be opening with limited hours to start. With COVID still a very real and present concern, we will be operating with mitigation measures in place- though slightly different from last season. All participants will be temperature checked and undergo screening questions at the gate. Masks and social distancing are still required.

We've been waiting to use this photo since 2019 and the announcement of #5050in50 seems perfect. This #mastersandrookies photo by @mtjphoto represents an amazing cross-section of the women who race in T-Town from the Masters National Champion Jo Johnson leading the field to juniors learning pack tactics amongst the other women in the field.

While we post a lot of UCI Elite women on this feed, they've all come through a development program somewhere. We have that pathway here. Executive Director @jmh16 is committed to lowering the barrier to entry and success for women of all backgrounds and abilities. It's highlighted in this week's #talkofthettown podcast with our newest board members @halfdraft @superco777.
