USA Cycling Junior and Elite Track National Championships

The Valley Preferred Cycling Center is the host of the 2016 USA Cycling Junior and Elite Track National Championships. The two championships are to run in conjunction with each other from July 25-31.

T-town is a familiar home for USA Cycling’s national championships as it has hosted multiple over the years. Most recently, the 2013 USA Cycling Junior Track National Championships were conducted at VPCC.

Admission:
Admission for most of the sessions is free to all fans. However, the Friday and Saturday night sessions will be ticketed. The nationals are included in the 2016 World Series of Bicycling schedule at VPCC. Season ticket holders will be granted access to any ticketed session as part of the season ticket package. Race Day Details

Parking
Parking in all areas is free of charge.

In order to help provide a fun, family atmosphere both inside and outside of Valley Preferred Cycling Center, we have established the following guidelines for the parking areas.
Violators are subject to being towed and/or will be asked to cease and desist or be subject to removal from premises and/or are subject to arrest and/or fines, depending on violation.

By law, alcohol consumption in the parking lots is illegal (Ordinance 711.08).

No open containers of alcoholic beverages are permitted on public property such as parking areas.
Overnight parking is prohibited.

No vehicle may occupy more than one parking space.
Guests may not obstruct other parking spaces, sidewalks or other areas that may impede pedestrian traffic to and/or from Valley Preferred Cycling Center.
Preparing food or beverages of any such kind where such preparation necessitates the use of an object or practice that is considered unsafe, hazardous or unhealthy to guests or participants is prohibited.
Solicitation of any products, materials, merchandise, equipment, food, or beverage is strictly prohibited at all events at the Valley Preferred Cycling Center.

Outside food and beverage is prohibited inside Valley Preferred Cycling Center. Guests will be asked to dispose of any food or beverage not purchased inside our gates.

Food/Concessions

The Valley Preferred Cycling Center offers the A-Treat Breakaway Cafe, which is located in the plaza. The A-Treat Breakaway Cafe offers an assortment of delicious food and beverage options for the T-Town fans. Some options available at the A-Treat Breakaway Café include the usual sporting event favorites as well as items which are unique to our venue!

Additionally, the Beer and Wine Stand is conveniently located right next to the A-Treat Breakaway Cafe in the plaza. It offers a great variety of both beer and Wine. Every Super Tuesday race features a “Happy Tuesday” special which gives a special sale which runs all night long. Every World Series of Bicycling event features a Happy Hour special which gives a special sale that runs only from 6pm-7pm.

The A-Treat Breakaway Cafe also provides the catering for all hospitality parties at the Valley Preferred Cycling Center, which includes the VeloDeck and the Infield Party Area. The menu includes a wide variety of fresh, homemade entrees, sides, and desserts.

In addition to concession items, the Valley Preferred Cycling Center offers VIP groups and parties a catering menu consisting of a wide variety of fresh, homemade entrees, sides, and desserts.

*Please note: The Beer and Wine Stand is not open during the Masters & Rookies Racing Series held every Saturday Afternoon.

Admission
For Events Requiring Tickets: On event night, take your e-ticket to the main gate where it will be scanned and you will be able to enter the facility.
Inclement Weather Cancellation Policy
Guests are encouraged to keep up to date on our website, www.thevelodrome.com, the best source for all weather related announcements as well as our social media sites. In the event of rain or inclement weather at Valley Preferred Cycling Center, the following rules apply:

World Series of Bicycling

If a Friday night World Series of Bicycling is postponed due to inclement weather, the race will be made up the following night, Saturday, at 7:30 p.m., with gates opening at 6:00 PM.
If the race cannot be made up the following day due to inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled for a later date to be determined
Tickets purchased specifically for the postponed event can be used when the event is re-scheduled.
All ticket purchases are final and refunds will not be issued should an event be rescheduled and ticket buyer cannot attend.

Fuji Bikes Pro-Am

In the event inclement weather forces the cancellation of a Fuji Bike Super Tuesday Pro-Am, the race will not be re-scheduled.

Masters and Rookies

In the event inclement weather forces the cancellation of a Masters and Rookies race, it will not be re-scheduled.

VeloFest

Both the Spring and Fall VeloFests are rain or shine events. Ticket purchases and vendor spot purchases will not be refunded in the event of inclement weather.

Infield Access: Trackside rider accommodations are located in the infield of the concrete crater. Riders receive access to the area by showing their bib numbers. Parents, coaches, trainers, administrators, and all other team officials must purchase an infield pass to receive admission across the bridge and into the infield area. A week-long pass, which grants infield admission during all the sessions, is $40. One-day passes, which grant admission during both sessions on a specific day, are $10. Infield passes serve as admission into the facility during ticketed sessions.
