The Valley Preferred Cycling Center prides itself and has for the last 40 years on community service. Between its free cycling programs and free admission races, the facility is truly a community venue. Behind it all is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, the Velodrome Fund Inc., which allows the organization and all the tremendous community programs and world-class cycling to occur, without issue, in T-Town.
In an effort to allow the facility, and its community programs, including the Gear Up Academy for inner-city youth, to thrive, the Velodrome Fund Inc. is always welcoming of donations. These small tokens of appreciation help off-set the cost in several areas including, equipment for our community programs, which is provided for riders in nearly all of the programs.
We appreciate any size donation, in advance, as anything helps the Valley Preferred Cycling Center educate the youth of the Lehigh Valley about the sport of cycling and promote a healthy lifestyle.
Volunteering at Valley Preferred Cycling Center is a great way to become part of the fun and exciting cycling community in the Lehigh Valley. When asked why they volunteer, our volunteer staff lists giving back to the sport of cycling and staying involved in the community as two of their top reasons.
All of the volunteer positions require Friday night commitments during our feature series the World Series of Bicycling which runs each summer June through August. Volunteers are asked to report at 5:30PM on Friday nights and will work the majority of the race night. We ask that volunteers work a minimum of 3 nights per season.
Volunteers are also needed for other events such as the annual spring and fall VeloFest, Victory BrewGrass Fest, and limited private facility rentals. Volunteers will receive a volunteer staff t-shirt and two complimentary tickets for each event worked.

As a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, we rely on sponsorship revenue to offset the cost of running a world class facility, and sponsor banner attracting our next local, national, or international Olympic superstars.
Our facility is one of a kind in the region. In the summer months we attract over 2,500 spectators per night to our World Series of Bicycling racing series. We are a public park, and open to the public year round. That means even when organized events are not taking place, riders and fitness enthusiasts will be using the track for practice and will see your name 365 days per year. Whether its spring, summer, fall, or winter, Valley Preferred Cycling Center always has riders on the track.
Maybe everyone isn’t cut out to be an Olympic athlete, but here at Valley Preferred Cycling Center that is fine too! We offer cycling programs to the young, old, and novice as well.
The question arises, what does your sponsorship investment get you? The answer is simple – year round brand exposure while keeping the Olympic dream alive for hundreds of cyclists each year.
The Valley Preferred Cycling Center features two historic barns on site that have been turned into functional storage centers. One barn is reserved for storage for VPCC, Lehigh County and the various international teams that call T-Town their home for an extended period during the racing season. The other is open for renting to riders who want to store their equipment (bikes, gear, etc.) at VPCC and not worry about transporting each time for use.
The barn features three different room sizes:
Small = $375
Medium = $475
Large = $525
The rental period runs from March-March. Renters are expected to protect their room with their own lock. VPCC is not responsible for damaged or stolen items.
Put a kid on a bike while shopping online! Through Amazon, you can shop for the items you want and benefit the youth cycling programs at the Valley Preferred Cycling Center. Through the Amazon Smile program, Amazon will donate a portion of your total due to our youth cycling programs, which benefit youth throughout the Lehigh Valley.
