
Mike Budjnoski BRL 2025 Intro Class
These exciting introduction sessions are designed for kids aged 9 to 16 who are interested in learning the basics of track bicycle riding to qualify for participation in the Bicycle Racing League (BRL). Over the course of six weeks, participants will be taught essential skills and techniques needed to compete in the BRL.
BRL Introduction Class - $25.00, per participant
Age Group: 9 to 16 years
Program Duration: April 14th through May 29th
Sessions: Monday and Thursday, 6 to 7 PM
Location: Valley Preferred Cycling Center
The program will cover:
- Basic Track Bicycle Handling: Learn how to control and maneuver your bike safely.
- Safety Practices: Emphasize the importance of safety gear and proper riding etiquette.
- Teamwork and Sportsmanship: Foster a sense of camaraderie and fair play among participants.
By the end of the program, kids will be well-prepared to participate in the BRL races from June through August. All participants are required to have basic understanding and capacity of riding a bicycle under normal circumstances. If any participant encounters challenges that prevent them from gaining the required skills to compete, they will be recommended to continue their learning process through VPCC summer cycling camps, which are free of charge.
