Valley Preferred
Cycling Center

Established 1975

The Valley Preferred Cycling Center is not only the country's premier cycling venue, but it has also introduced the freedom and empowerment of life on two wheels to people of all ages for over 48 years. In addition, The VPCC hosts the most successful series of professional racing in the U.S., Friday Nights Under the Lights, plus weekly races for athletes of all levels.
The VPCC is the conduit in the greater Lehigh Valley for all things cycling.

Mission Statement:

At the Valley Preferred Cycling Center, our mission is to enhance the accessibility of biking for individuals across all economic levels. We strive to lead safe riding programs and events that foster a sense of community and well-being. By showcasing cycling as a vital activity for physical health and wellness, we aim to advocate for the development of more and safer places to ride.

Moreover, we are dedicated to helping mold better future members of our community by teaching character, discipline, and responsibility through cycling. Our programs not only promote physical fitness but also instill valuable life skills and a strong sense of camaraderie. Together, we aim to create an inclusive and vibrant cycling culture where everyone can enjoy the benefits of biking and grow as individuals.

Accomplishments:

Our accomplishments include exposing thousands of riders to the joy of cycling through our summer community programs, with some going on to winning National, World, and Olympic medals.

Legal Identity:

A facility owned by the Lehigh County, The Valley Preferred Cycling Center is leased to and managed by the Velodrome Fund, Inc. - a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
