2028 Olympic Hopefuls Featured at This Year’s Fastest Man & Woman on Wheels

This Friday, June 27, the Valley Preferred Cycling Center will host one of its most electrifying events of the summer: The Fastest Man & Woman on Wheels. This UCI C2 night of racing features sprint and scratch events that will showcase rising stars and 2028 Olympic hopefuls from around the world, all vying for critical international ranking points.

As part of the Friday Nights Under the Lights series, the event promises a high-octane mix of speed, strategy, and spectacle—delivered by elite international sprinters and endurance riders with their eyes on LA 2028.

  • UCI Men’s & Women’s Sprint Tournament – A classic UCI format including qualifiers, 1/8 finals, semis, and best-of-three finals

  • UCI Scratch Races – Tactics meet stamina in these fan-favorite 25-lap and 30-lap battles
