Madison Cup to Close Landmark 50th Season at Valley Preferred Cycling Center on Friday, August 14

TREXLERTOWN, Pa. — The Valley Preferred Cycling Center will bring the curtain down on its historic 50th anniversary season with the Pro Men and Women Madison Cup on Friday, August 14, an evening featuring world-class racing, family entertainment, and a celebration of one of track cycling's most iconic events.

Gates open at 6:00 p.m. with racing beginning at 7:00 p.m.

The Madison Cup serves as the Velodrome's premier event of the season, showcasing one of track cycling's fastest and most strategic disciplines. This year's feature race will pit international teams against USA Cycling National Champions Kyle Perry and Aaron Beebe, promising an exciting conclusion to another memorable season in Trexlertown.

"The Madison is often considered the signature event of track cycling," said Executive Director, Gary Thornton. "With international talent, national champions and one final opportunity to experience Friday Night Racing this season, we're looking forward to an unforgettable night."

In addition to the Madison Cup final race, fans will enjoy a full evening of racing that includes Madison Scratch races, Keirin competition, Junior Madison racing, and Madison Flying Lap events.

The event is designed for the entire family, with bounce houses, kids games, coloring activities, and family-friendly entertainment available throughout the evening.

As part of the Valley Preferred Cycling Center's 50th Anniversary celebration, former racers who have competed at T-Town are invited to attend the event free of charge by checking in at Will Call.
