Paralympic Hopefuls to Compete at Valley Preferred Cycling Center Friday Night

USA Cycling Paracycling National Calendar Event Helps Build the Road to the Paralympics

BREINIGSVILLE, Pa. (July 10, 2026) — Some of the nation's top para-cycling athletes will take to the track this Friday at the Valley Preferred Cycling Center as part of the USA Cycling Paracycling Track National Calendar, bringing elite competition and inspiring stories of perseverance to T-Town.

The event is integrated into the Friday Night Under the Lights Artie Greenberg Memorial and will feature competition in the Scratch Race (offering a Ticket to Nationals entry opportunity), Elimination Race, Individual Pursuit, and Time Trial. These races provide athletes with valuable competition experience while helping prepare them for national championships and future Paralympic opportunities.

The USA Cycling Paracycling Track National Calendar was established to identify emerging talent, facilitate national classification, and deliver high-level racing opportunities that prepare para-cyclists for competition at the highest levels of the sport. By incorporating para-cycling races into established velodrome events across North America, the calendar creates a clear pathway into the Paralympic pipeline while increasing awareness and visibility for the sport nationwide.
