T-Town Hall of Fame Nominations Now Open — Who Will You Champion?

Community invited to honor the legends who built 50 years of the Valley Preferred Cycling Center’s legacy

TREXLERTOWN, Pa. — The Valley Preferred Cycling Center is thrilled to announce that nominations for the 2026 class of the T-Town Track Cycling Hall of Fame will open on May 19 and remain open through June 5.

The Hall of Fame exists to celebrate the people who have given so much to track cycling in the Lehigh Valley — the athletes who pushed the limits, the coaches who built champions, the officials who kept the wheels turning, and the supporters who showed up year after year. This is your opportunity to make sure they get the recognition they deserve.

Who can be nominated?

  • Competitors who raced at VPCC for at least five seasons and have been retired from competition for at least three years

  • Coaches with at least five years of track coaching experience and a proven record of developing talent at VPCC

  • Officials and support staff who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to the ideals and long-term growth of the sport

All nominees should embody what T-Town stands for: sportsmanship, integrity, and a genuine commitment to growing track cycling in our community.

"The T-Town Track Cycling Hall of Fame has always been about honoring the people who make this place extraordinary. With the Valley Preferred Cycling Center celebrating its 50th anniversary, this year's class carries a weight and meaning unlike any before it,” said Elspeth Huyett, Vice Chair of the Valley Preferred Cycling Center Board of Directors. “We anticipate a full slate of remarkable candidates, and I want to encourage anyone who has experienced the community, camaraderie, and excitement of the velodrome to submit a nomination. The person who coached you, cheered for you, or simply inspired you to show up belongs in this conversation."

How to nominate: Starting May 19, nominations can be submitted via the online form at thevelodrome.com/hall-of-fame. You'll be asked to share a summary of your nominee's achievements and the impact they've had on the sport and community in accordance with the nomination criteria

Final inductees will be selected by the Hall of Fame Honors Committee and celebrated at a formal induction ceremony during Madison Cup on August 14, 2026. View the full list of past inductees at thevelodrome.com/hall-of-fame.
