USA Cycling Junior Track National Championships Begin This Week at the Valley Preferred Cycling Center
Event Opens July 23rd and Concludes on July 27th
BREINIGSVILLE, Pa. — The wait is over. The 2026 USA Cycling Junior Track National Championships officially begin this week as the nation’s top junior track cyclists converge on the Valley Preferred Cycling Center for five days of championship racing from July 23–27 (27th is a raindate).
The event represents the future of American cycling, bringing together the country’s best young athletes to compete for the coveted Stars and Stripes jersey across sprint, endurance, and team events. Throughout the week, riders ages 10 to 18 will test their speed, tactics, and determination on one of the world’s most historic velodromes. There will also be 9-10 year old exhibition racing throughout the event.
The Valley Preferred Cycling Center has long been recognized as the home of track cycling in the United States, having hosted countless national and international competitions while helping develop Olympians, World Champions, and National Champions. This year’s Junior Nationals continues that proud tradition by giving the next generation of athletes an opportunity to compete on cycling’s biggest domestic stage.
“We’re excited to welcome riders, coaches, officials, and families from across the country to T-Town,” said Gary Thornton, Executive Director of the Valley Preferred Cycling Center. “Junior Nationals is one of the most important events of our season and a showcase for the incredible talent and bright future of American track cycling.”
Admission is free for every session throughout the championships, and concessions will be open for athletes, families, and spectators. Fans are encouraged to follow the Valley Preferred Cycling Center on social media for ongoing schedule information, results, photos, and event updates throughout the week.
The event would not be possible without the dedication of the many volunteers who donate their time throughout the championships. The Valley Preferred Cycling Center also extends its sincere appreciation to Star Track, Edge Cycling, Bike Works p/b Fred Beans, and Team BSR for their commitment to junior cycling and their support in helping make the event possible.
