Zwift’s Kate Veronneau to Headline Three-Day Celebration of Active Women at FeistyFest
Wahoo FeistyFest, presented by Discover Lehigh Valley, welcomes the return of Kate Veronneau to her cycling roots in a celebration of movement, community, and sport at the Valley Preferred Cycling Center on Sept. 18–20, 2026
Feisty Media, the women’s sports and health company behind some of the most trusted voices for active women, is bringing its flagship event, FeistyFest, to Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley for the very first time. Taking place Sept. 18–20, 2026, at the Valley Preferred Cycling Center — known to generations of cyclists simply as T-Town — the three-day event is built for women of all ages, backgrounds, and experience levels who want to move, learn, and connect.
Headlining the event is Kate Veronneau, Director of Women’s Strategy at Zwift and one of the most influential figures in women’s cycling today. For Veronneau, the setting is deeply personal: It was on these same proving grounds that she first fell in love with the sport.
“Coming back to the Lehigh Valley feels like coming home. T-Town is where I first fell in love with cycling, and it played a huge role in shaping my journey in the sport. I’m thrilled to return to my roots, share the magic of the Lehigh Valley with a new generation of women, and make new friends along the way. FeistyFest is all about connection, community, and empowering women through sport, and I can’t think of a better place to bring people together than the place where my own cycling story began.” — Kate Veronneau, keynote speaker at FeistyFest
Veronneau is a former collegiate basketball player who discovered cycling in Lehigh Valley and built her racing career on the local roads and banking of T-Town’s velodrome before transitioning to the business side of the sport. When her own pro racing career was cut short by a lack of opportunity, she didn’t walk away. Instead, she built a career within it—first as Marketing Director at the velodrome, then at Zwift, where she helped launch Zwift Academy, a talent identification program that created a new pathway to professional cycling through the virtual platform
Today, Veronneau leads Zwift’s partnership with the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift and spearheads Watch the Femmes, a movement dedicated to turning the visibility of women’s cycling into real, lasting investment, opportunity, and growth. Her work sits at the intersection of athlete advocacy, industry strategy, and community building — the same values at the heart of FeistyFest.
Wahoo FeistyFest is a noncompetitive event that brings together women of all levels to bike, run, swim, lift, and be active. The weekend blends hands-on activity with expert-led education: Attendees can explore Pennsylvania’s gravel roads on a group ride, learn the basics of track racing at the velodrome, attend strength and yoga sessions, and hear from trusted voices in health, fitness, and performance.
“Welcoming Kate back to Lehigh Valley is a truly full-circle moment. This is a region where people often come for one reason and end up discovering something new, taking that with them to help shape not only their careers, but communities, individuals, and industries worldwide. We’re looking forward to her sharing her journey at FeistyFest and bringing that passion back to the Valley Preferred Cycling Center.” — Alex Michaels, President & CEO, Discover Lehigh Valley
The venue itself is part of the experience. Since 1975, T-Town has served as one of the most storied cycling venues in the country — launching Olympians, hosting major national events, and creating a family-friendly environment where all riders are welcome. The surrounding Lehigh Valley, conveniently accessible from major East Coast hubs, provides easy access to beautiful trails and open space for women from across the region.
“We are thrilled to welcome Feisty Media and Kate Veronneau to the Valley Preferred Cycling Center. Kate advocates for women in sport and championed the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift. For Kate to come back to T-Town to motivate women at FeistyFest is not surprising. That is who Kate is.” — Gary Thornton, Executive Director, Valley Preferred Cycling Center
