Longest Lap: How Long Can You Track Stand
Fondly known as the Marymoor Crawl, a nod to its roots at Seattle’s Jerry Baker velodrome, the Longest Lap involves cyclists slowly riding a set distance before waiting at the start line for the starter’s gun to fire. Except, they have to wait a while…
The race is a balance of wanting to be as far ahead of the rest of the field when possible when the race starts and your ability to track stand. Riders cannot cross the start/finish line, hold on to the railing or put a foot down.
