Eliana Mumaw - TEAMBSR

Junior Rider

Eliana Mumaw (10 Years Old) is an up-and-coming junior cyclist racing for Team BSR. Now in her second season, Eliana has quickly developed into a strong competitor across a range of track disciplines, including elimination, scratch, points, wheel, chariot, and her personal favorite—Italian pursuit.

Her journey into cycling began after watching her older brother participate in the Bicycle Racing League (BRL). Inspired by his experience, Eliana decided to give it a try herself—and hasn’t looked back since. What keeps her riding? A simple love of being on a bike.

Eliana’s most memorable moment so far came last fall when she won the U15 PACX Series Championship and became the U12 Pennsylvania State Champion—a major milestone and proud achievement in her young career.

Known for her fun and relaxed attitude on race day, Eliana’s pre-race ritual is all about keeping things light and having fun. After a hard effort on the track, she loves to celebrate with her favorite post-race treat: ice cream.

Eliana dreams of riding with two of her biggest inspirations—Missy Schwab and Mandy Marquardt—both powerful and inspiring women in the sport. Her favorite place to ride is T-Town, her home track, where she loves the speed and atmosphere.

When she's not racing, Eliana enjoys drawing, dancing in silly ways, and petting her cats. She also proudly notes that she’s tall for her age—something that often surprises people.

Her go-to riding music is anything upbeat and fun, like Disney Movie Favorites. As for advice to other aspiring cyclists? “Have fun and don’t worry too much.” Eliana strikes a great balance between training and life with the help of a steady routine and a lot of joy for the ride.

With her enthusiasm, talent, and growing list of achievements, Eliana Mumaw is a name to remember in junior track cycling.
