Julianna Rutecki Is All In for TTown This Summer
Known for her versatility, energy, and contagious love of the sport, Julianna Rutecki is bringing her A-game back to TTown for another full summer of Friday night racing. Now in her third year with Bike Works powered by Fred Beans, Julianna will be a regular on the boards—especially during the UCI races—while also taking on some of the biggest road events across the country.
Where You'll See Her in 2025:
- TTown Friday Night Racing (including UCI events)
- Road Nationals Criterium, Easton, Somerville, Armed Forces, Chicago Grit, and Littleton Twilight
- Track Nationals in Colorado Springs in August
With six years of racing under her belt, Julianna has found her sweet spot in the Omnium and Madison. She first got into racing through triathlon—following in her dad’s footsteps—but after discovering she didn’t have to swim or run to compete, cycling quickly became her passion.
A proud graduate of West Chester University with a degree in Exercise Science, Julianna balances her packed racing calendar with a passion for strength and conditioning coaching, aiming to launch her own business in the near future.
“As serious as racing is, it’s supposed to be fun. One of my favorite memories is when our team director played music over the radio mid-race at Intelligentsia—just a great reminder to enjoy the ride.”
Her go-to post-race meal? Chipotle. Always. And if the race is at night, you’ll probably find her spinning to a pop-heavy playlist with a coffee stop in the morning. She credits her motivation to the love of the sport and her own big goals—and she always makes time to sprint for town signs back home in West Chester, her favorite place to ride.
“To aspiring riders—just have fun. Surround yourself with good people, chase town signs, and ride with those who push you. That’s how you grow.”
Catch Julianna flying on the track this summer—you’ll know her by the speed, the smile, and the serious sprint game.
