The Masters & Rookies Saturdays at T-Town run throughout the summer and offer racing opportunities for riders of all ages and abilities. Each week we will mix up the formats to keep it fun, competitive and safe. We’ll offer a combination of traditional race days interspersed with individual TT days that will include racing opportunity for Elites as well.
Race categories for Mass Start Saturdays will be:
MEN: 35+, 45+, 55+ and USAC category 4
WOMEN: 35+, 55+ and USAC category 4
JUNIOR: A & B (ages 10-15 based upon ability) – gear restriction 48×16 or equivalent
*Categories maybe combined depending on number of entrants
Pre-registration will be required.
A very important note for the 2023 season: The VPCC will no longer offer Novice/Category 5 mass start races at Masters & Rookies. Novice track racers in 2023 will need to complete the Try-, Ride-, & Race the Track series before participating in mass start races. Riders who raced previously as a Novice/Category 5 and have not chosen to upgrade to Category 4, will need to contact the VPCC to request an upgrade endorsement.
All VPCC run community programs, training sessions and racing will fully comply with all relevant current state, local and USAC guidelines.
