Try the Track

Experience the thrill of velodrome cycling at the Valley Preferred Cycling Center.

Our Try the Track sessions are the perfect way to step onto the boards for the first time, build confidence, and discover what makes track cycling so addictive.

Level 1: Intro to Track Cycling

Level 1 is designed for anyone curious about riding the velodrome. You’ll learn the fundamentals of handling a fixed‑gear track bike, riding the banking, and moving safely and predictably on the track. Our coaching staff guides you through each skill in a supportive, beginner‑friendly environment. No prior track experience is needed.

Level 2: Continue Your Progress

After completing Level 1, riders can continue on the same day into Level 2. This session reinforces the basics while introducing more advanced techniques, group riding skills, and controlled increases in speed. Level 2 is the ideal next step for riders who want to keep building confidence and prepare for future training or certification opportunities.

Why Try the Track?

  • Welcoming environment for all experience levels
  • Professional coaching and structured skill progression
  • A fun, safe way to explore the world of track cycling
