While the records remain untouched, these riders left it all on the track. 🚴‍♀️ Women’s Five Mile Record Attempt 🥇 Claudia Marcks (Australia) took the win in 11:00, averaging a blistering 43.9 km/h over 24 laps! 🥈 Kimberly Zubris @kimberly.zubris (Star Track Cycling @startrackuci – Alburtis, PA) kept the pressure on for silver. 🥉 Danielle Van Niekerk (Bike Works p/b Fred Beans – South Africa) powered to third. 🚴‍♂️ Men’s Ten Mile Record Attempt 🥇 Marcos Mendez (Argentina) rode a masterclass of pace and poise, finishing in 19:52 at 48.5 km/h over 48 laps. 🥈 Magnus Jamieson @magnus_jamieson (New Zealand) continued his podium streak with another strong finish. 🥉 Liam Ramsey (New Zealand) rounded out an international top three.
